My practice focuses on health and wellness, both physical and mental. I believe that we can all improve our well-being by making healthy choices and being intentional in our personal and professional lives. Whether through coaching or counseling, I enjoy working with children, adolescents and adults to help them become aware of their thoughts, emotions and actions. I believe it is from this awareness that intentional changes can be made to reach personal or professional goals. I use an integrated and values-based approach with clients. I am non-judgmental, accepting and welcoming of all, and I view coaching and counseling as a collaborative process, where I strive to create an atmosphere of warmth and acceptance in every session. I am friendly and approachable, and I enjoy working with people to help them achieve their goals and overcome personal challenges.

I have always been interested in health and wellness. Whether working at Children’s Hospital Boston in the Psychiatry Department, serving as a Leadership Development Consultant in Charlotte, working as a Career Advisor at Davidson College or serving as a counselor a K-12 educational setting, I have developed an expertise in personal and professional well-being. Health and wellness are priorities for everyone whether in the clinical, corporate or higher education setting. I greatly enjoy guiding others to listen to themselves and trust their own worth. Whether in a counseling or a career coaching session, my approach is practical and tailored to meet the specific needs of each client.

When not seeing clients, I enjoy spending time with my husband and daughters and traveling home to Boston to see family.  I look forward to your call and answering any questions you might have about my approach, my coaching and counseling services, and how I might be able to help you.
